A native of New York City and the son of a mechanical engineer and a freelance photographer, Geordan grew up immersed in both logic and artistry: traits that now define his legal practice. After high school, he served nine years in the United States Air Force, including deployment during the Gulf War, working first as a Combat Communications Technician and later as a Professional Military Education Instructor. In 2010, Geordan pivoted to law, attending the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law, where he excelled academically and earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious American Society of Legal Writers’ Scribes Award. He distinguished himself as a Teaching Assistant, law journal editor, and leader of several student organizations. After law school, Geordan honed his courtroom skills as a Deputy Public Defender in Clark County, handling every stage of criminal cases and gaining invaluable trial experience. Since joining Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers in 2018, Geordan has rapidly become an integral part of the firm’s powerhouse team. His courtroom prowess and dedication to clients have led to extraordinary results, including being named, alongside Sean Claggett, to Courtroom View Network’s “Top 10 Most Impressive Plaintiff Verdicts of 2022” for securing over $14 million in a zero-offer case. In 2023, he was also part of the team that achieved a record-breaking $485 million jury verdict against Acadia Healthcare, Inc.
