Nick Coccimiglio
Founder, Justice for Life
Nicholas J. Coccimiglio witnessed first-hand the challenges faced by settlement recipients when a member of his family fell victim to catastrophic injury as a result of medical malpractice.
Inspired by this traumatic event, Nicholas began his career as a structured settlement consultant and soon after, at the age of 24, became the youngest Certified Structured Settlement Consultant in the history of the designation.
This experience set Nicholas on a path to change the way in which settlement recipients make financial decisions and to drastically improve the quality of advice they receive.
After passing the series 7 and 66 exams, Nicholas continued his financial education through UC Berkeley’s Personal Financial Planning Program. Soon after, Nicholas was invited to join the Sudden Money Institute as their youngest member and quickly became a featured speaker on the topic of Legal Settlements at their annual conference in West Palm Beach, FL. Equipped with this education and experience, Nicholas successfully incorporated the traditional structured settlement annuity into a comprehensive financial planning model that ultimately became the basis for what Justice For Life is today – the leading provider of financial and settlement strategies for trial lawyers and their plaintiff clients.
Nicholas is an instrument and type rated pilot who enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with his wife Shannon and their two kids.
