Dan Caplis is a trial lawyer, broadcaster, and community leader. He hosts a nationally syndicated daily talk show on iHeart Radio and serves on the board of Catholic Charities Denver. Dan is widely recognized for an extraordinary trial record, believed to be the only lawyer in Colorado to win ten consecutive seven-figure jury verdicts, averaging more than ten times the pre-trial offers. His most recent verdict was a landmark $205 million wrongful death case. In recognition of his impact, 5280 Magazine named Dan one of the 25 most powerful people in Denver. He credits his success to his outstanding colleagues, including founding partner Babar Waheed, Managing Partner John Kellner, and his daughter, Caroline Caplis. Beyond the courtroom and the airwaves, Dan has been married for 31 years to former news anchor Aimee Sporer, whom he famously proposed to live on television. Their son, Joe, is currently in law school.
