In 2017, Sean was honored by his peers at the Nevada Justice Association as Nevada’s Trial Attorney of the Year, recognizing his exceptional skill and impact in the courtroom. Sean’s extraordinary success continued in 2021, when he obtained a $38.75 million verdict for the mother of an 11-year-old girl who was tragically killed by a garbage truck while crossing in a marked crosswalk. In 2023, Sean and the firm’s trial team in New Mexico secured a record-breaking $485 million jury verdict against national healthcare company Acadia Healthcare, Inc., for placing children in a foster home with a known sexual predator, believed to be the largest single-plaintiff sexual abuse verdict ever. That same year, he won a $48.63 million medical negligence verdict on behalf of Amy Geiler, a woman left in a locked-in state due to medical negligence. Sean’s continued his passion for justice into 2024, when he secured a $20 million verdict in a complex product defect trial lasting three months. In April 2025, he helped deliver a historic $145+ million jury verdict in a workers’ compensation bad faith case against NorGUARD Insurance Company—the largest bad faith verdict in U.S. history. Recognized in 2020 by Courtroom View Network as one of the “Who We’re Watching” lawyers—an elite group of the best trial lawyers of the decade—Sean has firmly established himself as one of the most exceptional and influential trial attorneys of his generation.
